Description
This cold forged heat sink is based aluminum 1070 material to processing, first of all, we check the raw material dimension is fine or not, the second is that according to the drawing, use Hydraulic press machine to do the roughcast, the third is that accroding to the drawing, use the wood machine to cut the outline dimension, the forth is that use the CNC to do exact dimension, the fifth is do anodizing clear, the last step is riveting, and then inspection/packing. First inspection and patrol inspection are done in processing .

Cold forged heat sink
Cold forging is a manufacturing process in which the aluminum or copper heat sink is formed by using localized compressed forces. Fin arrays are formed by forcing raw material into a molding die by a punch. The process ensures that no air bubbles, porosity or any other impurities are trapped within the material and thus produces exceptionally high quality products
We are able to produce complex shapes such as elliptical fins, stappered fins, round pin array.
Due to cold-foring process, heat sink can be formed without too much unnecessary waste.

This process is as integrated structure, and mostly we adopt “cold-forge” process. We insert the material of Aluminum alloy into the tooling by high pressure.

Using high purity aluminum and copper in the shape of pin coolers meets these requirements in an optimum way. In contrast to extruded coolers more complex geometries can be manufactured as well.
